Then I go i with the first mix and do scratchy lines where the reflection should be. I do this kind of rough and with quite thin paint. This will help with the blending later

Then I do the same with mix three

Then I do the same with mix three

In step four i start with edge higlights of pure pearl gray. And then some. More tiny highligts. Then I take mix 3 and glaze from dark to light, then I do the same with mix 2. And lastly i do pure payne's gray but from light to dark. If it's not to much paint in the glaze i find this to be quicker than to glaze from light to dark. Then I add a reflection of the hair from the axe (that I plan to paint orange). Recess shade with payne's gray and lastly tiny highligts of ice yellow. Then it's done :)

So this is the finished result

So this is the finished result

These are the paints I used

This is how the wet pallet looked. Nr 2 is a mix of payne's gray, pastel green and pearl grey. Nr3 is the same mix just more pearl gray.

First i cover the whole leg with payne's gray. Then I look under the light from the angle i want the mini to be seen from and memorise where the shine is from that angle. An other way is to take a picture from that angle and use as referens

Okay, so I have tried to make some sort of quick nmm tutorial on a mini I have had made. Im new to this but I will try to add the steps to the pictures
