The lights of Manhattan glimmer from across the river as I pause at the corner and take a deep breath of the cool air. The headlights of early commuters speed by as I take in the scene, birds chirping in the trees around me, ready to greet the day. Brooklyn is slowly unfolding, awakening in its own time, but am I vanguard or just another traveler in the city that never sleeps? A wet start to the day, the air thick with moisture. But the breeze is warm as the rain shifts softly between mist and drizzle, launching tiny rainbows from the streetlamps. With the second knife and last section of torso belts, the last unfinished parts are done and - after probably a few rounds of touching up details - we can move on to the fancy flowing fabrics attached to her backpack!

Worked on the orange NMM this week and also finally drilled the hole, so I can now stick it on the plinth!
Quite happy with the hexagonal and slanted shape for it.
