Wha about ongoing - like “I need to email/call them in 5 days”? This is where my memory goes to die

😂😂😭
The worst part is I liked these people. Wanted to do the work.
And I keep wondering how many smaller versions of this happened that I never even noticed. Conversations that just quietly expired.
Any other founders here who are great at the relationship part but terrible at the follow-up admin?
Lost a $15K deal last year. Not because the pitch was bad. Because I forgot to follow up.
The calls went great. They needed a few weeks. I said sure. Then I got regular-busy and..nothing.
When I reached back out: "We allocated that budget. Can revisit in 6-12 months."
Gone.
There will always be a place for investment. But, as Lior points out and I've witnessed, building like you won't raise creates a great company (then you can decide if you need more $ to scale or not)
Learn by doing, love it
Yes/No: Do you trust Claude/ChatGPT to manage your CRM or sales relationships? (and why?)
I'm working, he's not. 😺

Petgugu’s self‑flushing smart cat toilet eliminates scooping by hooking directly into your sewage system; after a 😺 💩 it discards waste, washes litter, resets for next use.
AI might soon replace you, but it seems like your cat already has.
Unlike Starlink’s managed broadband, Spacecoin’s “Starmesh” aims to build a tokenized, censorship‑resistant internet. If it works, permissionless connectivity could literally reach for the stars and maybe 👽.

Alien crypto
In a straight‑up sci‑fi p-o-c, Spacecoin beamed (yes, beamed) an encrypted blockchain transaction this week: Chile to Portugal by its CTC‑0 satellite.
The tiny spacecraft, launched in Dec 2024, validated that cryptographic signatures can survive a trip through orbit.
Why it matters:
Comment on the post to get a code for 250 free, verified marketing leads
Just convinced my co-founder to let me leak 250 verified leads to anyone who comments. Full contact data - mail, email, phone. Zero strings. We’re launching on AppSumo and I’m basically giving away our product for free to prove a point.

Just built a really elegant 'automation' using google sheets, some classic 'excel' formulas, and just a smidge of app script. Super fun. I almost forgot about the powerful tools we've had forever (pre-AI)!

Do you ever get the feeling that you're being watched? 👀
Is it just me or does your favorite AI tool change almost daily?
can't tell if it's the pace of change (on their side) or if I am outgrowing certain tools
Claude still wins for most-used/favorite tool
Gemini is growing on me - for technical problems
ChatGPT is more 'see what chat says' to compare
I use this for:
- Pricing analysis
- Competitive research
- ICP trends/habits
- Strategy analysis
- Industry insights
You just saved week’s worth of work or a multi- thousand dollar consulting bill. Here’s my Venmo…jkjk 😂

You can drop the result in Gamma(.app) or Google slides w Gemini for slides, or paste it into Notion and have its AI organize into a summary with action steps

Spectacular 🌅
People buy products, and
People are messy
People inspire
People frustrate
People write glowing reviews
People complain
People share ideas
People leave
People are faithful
All these things are true.
No people, no product, no company.

The most profitable product pivot I know happened during a pottery class
Founder couldn't center the clay. Got frustrated. Started thinking about balance.
Realized her app had the same problem

On Juneteenth, we celebrate freedom and recommit ourselves to the work that remains undone. We remember that even in the darkest hours, there is cause to hope for tomorrow’s light.
The best startup advice I ever got came from an outdoorsman.
"You can't rush the fire. But you can't let it die either."
Some problems need time to heat up before you can work them out.
Stop forcing solutions. Start tending them.

Your competitor is copying features.
You should be copying *processes*
How does a chef develop new dishes? How does an architect solve space problems?
The method matters more than the outcome.
