I haven't read this yet, but based solely on the blurb, a conclusion that makes just as much sense is that children with high SOCIAL aptitude flourish in the traditional school environment.

Odd this day Well, it’s 55 years to the day since French researcher Michel Gauquelin put this advert in Ici-Paris offering free personal horoscopes…

It’s the 57th anniversary today of French researcher Michel Gauquelin offering the people of Paris free personal horoscopes — and then sending all 150 respondents the horoscope of Marcel Petiot, France’s most notorious mass murderer

I discovered LDG when I was severely depressed and didn't really leave the house but needed some kind of human exposure, and it was very soothing. I never attend live b/c of the time zone difference, but the classes come with a recording that you can watch on your own time.

Another thing that feels like a luxury, though maybe this is just me, is giving myself permission to play with art supplies w/o feeling like I need to make anything, like literally just to play. :)

There's good science behind the health benefits of "forest-bathing," so that's an awesome option if you have a safe place to do it! I read a study about how experiences in nature (or "near-nature" like looking at paintings of natural scenes) are a valuable treatment for chronic overstimulation.

haha, honestly this is mostly important w/ carbonated beverages, coffee is way less abrasive. HOWEVER, it seems that eating cheese can help minimize these effects; compounds in cheese adhere to your dental enamel and form a protective barrier. Which sounds nice but also you have cheese teeth.

Wooded scene featuring a moss-covered chunk of deadwood

Not to downplay the beauty of nature on its merits, but I do think the wood in the foreground looks like an anthropomorphized rabbit playing a guitar #MaynardMA

It really says something about the repression present in american society that I am not constantly being stopped on the street by people who want to tell me how beautiful I am????

That’s the distinction between Star Wars and Star Trek. In Star Wars the ultimate evil is a tempter figure, it’s Satan, it’s someone whispering look what you can have if you learn to hate. In Star Trek the ultimate evil is a voice impassively telling you to stop caring, it doesn’t matter if you care

I don't disagree, but for your consideration I posit two notes re: brushing your teeth AFTER you drink coffee: (1) minty fresh mouth makes coffee taste gank, and (2) the acidity in coffee temporarily softens your tooth enamel, and brushing during this often 1-hr period can damage your teeth.
