Happy memories. It is a real landscape feature. From the ground or 3000'. It features on a tour if Dales Castles

It was a joy to see the Church Fenton ones on Saturday. "Our" blackbird still singing at 7am. Now sat in the orchard surrounded by blossom and bird song. But only one moth. #FirstBirdofMyDay
I'd be quite happy with that haul. Three traps here in central Leeds. One Hebrew Character under the external egg trays. #TeamMoth
Blackbird, but across the city, as I walked to the start of my very urban Breeding Bird Survey square for @_BTO Sadly almost no sparrows heard or seen in the first half, hopefully just from the very cold start. The joy of a Sunday at 7.15 is the African church singing at St Wilfreds
Crows early doors and being very vocal at our airfield. Glorious to hear a lapwing mewing across the runway. And the joy of the house martins being back under the eaves of the station building yeh the world is still turning. #FirstBirdofMyDay
Upside down on the bench. All stuff from the it will come in handy pile. Strength in the rear section, closest to the camera. Rails close together at the front as something has to go under it, probably a shallow shelf.
Nicely done. Busy building a coffee table base for a friend. Actually marble top for plants but you get the scale.
This system is just rotten through and through, I read an article once that described the economic shocks and reforms that over two centuries have increasingly concentrated property capital in fewer people. Multinational capital entities now buying up what small buy to let are selling off. Wtf.
As most days, blackbird well before dawn. Much later a sole cock sparrow flying from the waste transfer site and diving under the trolleys as I loaded the panniers of the weekly shop into my bike outside Aldi. #FirstBirdofMyDay
Churches, cathedrals, amazing photos, wonderful reflective writing. Give Andy a follow and some support
Does my body look small with this bill? @drrjwarren.bsky.social
The blackbirds were chorusing at 3.30 am. The wild cherry is now blossoming against the threatening sky.#FirstBirdofMyDay
River Irt or Esk and I think both were still green back then!
My favourite loco. Planning to be there May Day weekend for Northern Rock's 50th. I remember seeing it under construction a couple of times, back in my school days
A rather noisy crow morning with occasional undertones of blackbird and now woodpigeon. #FirstBirdofMyDay
Do you get good views, we saw them in the distance in Poland 21 years ago
You are on a roll. Love it
Maybe find a sunny evening corner ?
@drrjwarren.bsky.social @saocousins.bsky.social enjoy
Nice. Have a great day, how did he match that. Crows being argumentative again here. #FitdtBirdofMyDay
If that is what you do with little time I truly look forward to the retirement collection.
That is a beauty
Oh joys, I had a total of seven sparrows chirping excitedly in the wild cherry (about to break blossom) waiting for Mrs Blackbird to finish her ablutions in the freshly filled large water tray. #FirstBirdofMyDay
That is a very nice one Andy
Nice. I remember a TCV staff meeting that had morning of tree planting and then adjourned to a garden centre. Mud? We were also wet !
That is a beauty. I am hoping to do some trapping in Ireland in the summer.
Thank you, a total catch of 6 over three traps, more at home in a back alley than the rather wild allotments
A slow start to the season in Central Leeds. A lovely female LBAM, a beautiful Brindled Beauty nfg and one of the quakers maybe small, any pointers #TeamMoth ?
Stunning
Not the first bird, but shortly after a whirling quad of mallard fluff balls on the canal. All topped by our ringing friends sending a photo of a retrap redpoll from the allotments. A new site species. Now to wait and see where it has travelled from. #FirstBirdofMyDay
