Thanks Robert, I know and I don't live in Ohio. It is just the idea of having to simply an outsider with information on me they don't need. I've had my identity compromised three times over the last 25 years from organizations that were supposed to be TRUSTED. They were NOT TRUSTWORTHY!

Likely my last post on @bsky.app @safety.bsky.app @support.bsky.team For me, Social Media has gone off the rails. Not supplying any of the information requested below. It's been FUN.
Thanks
Here's showing not to let a #SpaceWeather #SpaceWX forecast sway you from doing a #POTA #parksontheairair activation. A Index (27) K Index (6) Solar Winds 429+ at 1000 UTC over U.S. today but here's a sample of the strong #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #MorseCode CW signals received

Minimal #hamradio #amateurradio #qrp #qrpradio setup for what #spaceweather said was a dismal morning. NOT for today's #40m #amateurradio #hamradio #cw #morsecode #parksontheair #pota activation. Can't always accept a #spacewx #solarcycle25 forecast.
I got him as a 339. It took several repeats for him to copy me.
The stealthy #solarstorm has arrived and it is beginning to really look good for #aurora shows, despite being pretty slow. Aurora chasers in the Western and those down under should get some decent periodic brightenings through morning as substorms ramp up!
Compromised Antenna? Not Today! AX1 Activation at Fort Dobbs State Historic Site
On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, my wife, Hazel, and I were heading back from Greensboro, NC along Interstate 40 when I thought it fitting to make a short detour to Fort Dobbs State Historic Site for a quick POTA…
Indeed you were VERY LUCKY. I almost jump on FT8 but made one domestic CW POTA QSO with Jerry AC4BT
In the words of PFC Gomer Pyle, "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise". Yes, there are times when I operate SSB for my #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #POTA #parksontheair activities. Here's proof.

The first QSO, of course!
Hands sweating, head turning around, 2 left hands, but when it finished, was like angels playing a choir of trumpets!
Working my way through an early morning #AmateurRadio #HamRadio #POTA #parksontheair #MorseCode #CW activation at US7956

KV4AN: A Pair of Quick Drive-Up SOTA Activations in Northern Alabama
By Steve (KV4AN) My XYL and her sister like to go yard sale-ing on Saturday morning (this is the practice of buying other people’s junk so you can throw it away for them), so I’ve had two beautiful Saturday mornings to do a pair…

Hurricane Helene: One Year Later

Pre-dawn #hamradio #amateurradio #pota #parksontheair activation setup with #ft817 #qrpradio into #qrp #EFHW
This is a MUST Read for those who may be struggling learning #morsecode. Over the last few weeks I've had several #amateurradio #hamradio #pota #parksontheair P2P with Zach, my Kentucky neighbor. Outstanding #cw newbie. You'd never know it by his sending and listening. Look for him on #potaspots
Thank you
Thanks to @potaspots.bsky.social , all #POTA #parksontheair hunters and others for helping me reach another milestone. The sweet taste of "RUM" Mike #K4RUM put me over 9K contacts at US-7956. #amateurradio #hamradio at its BEST.
Looking forward to hearing what you think about it. Have fun. Be safe.

On large screen the prediction will change as the target destination is moved to a new location. The inset will move to get out of the way of the target as needed.
