Solar activity is low (M 35%), geomagnetic activity will initially be mostly quiet to unsettled (Kp 1–3). However, strong solar winds from a coronal hole may arrive later and trigger an active to stormy phase (Kp 4–5). Till than, conditions are fair to good (15/17/20m). #spaceweather #hamradio #hamr
During the day the solar flux of ~105 units is promising good DX on 15/12m. Starting in the evening, 40m becomes the global DX band; 160/80m promising good conditions by quiet geomagnetic activity (Kp1-2). #solarstorm update - an interplanetary shock (likely associated with the Apr 1 CME) has arrived at L1 with a speed of ~800 km/s. The total magnetic field remains <15 nT, and Dst shows no significant response so far.
