I use an asterisk for multiplication. It’s better than an x or dot, which maybe confused with another meaning.

It's best for accessibility to use "Camel Case" meaning capitalize the first letter of each word in a hashtag... so screen readers can read it properly.
{and quite honestly I find it easier to read that way too!! }
