Maybe a couple of graphic novels. I struggle to read and sometimes artwork supports me. Neverwhere, Neil Gailman I've not read but might be good. Nimona is brilliant but a bit of a weepy. Maus is utterly harrowing but incredible. Would read ahead and with child.

Hearing a robin shouting outside. I reckon it's eating the berries in our garden

Also, there's the remains of ancient oak in Bushey park. It was thought to have reached 1000 years old before being struck by lightning back in the 80s. It's really beautiful.

There's a sweet chestnut in Bushey Park that's in the region of 650 years old. It's pretty magical.
