No one has pointed out the obvious: the new pope is Lothaire. Leo =

Please report on this, someone.

I had a glorious time at #4C25 learning things and seeing people and remembering the power that scholars and teachers of writing have. Hopefully we’ll be able to hang in Cleveland next year!
I would like to see a panel about the best classroom shenanigans people have ever gotten up to. #4C25
Oh crap, I forgot to rent a booth at the #4C25 book expo. But you can get Ravished by Reviewer 2 for FREE at Barnes & Noble.

Don't curse the darkness. Go to a conference and curse the darkness with a bunch of your colleagues. #4C25
I'm not presenting about romance at #4C25, BUT, as I'm working on my newest mini-tome (Sex and Solidarity!), I have something to say: solidarity is sexy. Don't be a creep about it, but show solidarity with folks in academia who have less power than you do. Ask them what they need to work and thrive.
If you hear feral screaming in the halls of the convention center, that's just me either being very enthusiastic about a talk I just attended or tackling a theory bro and making him appreciate intersectional feminist rhetorics. #4C25
Hi everyone preparing for #4C25 !
Here’s the “Composing Access” website with all kinds of resources and downloadable media for making your presentation more accessible (including comics!)
u.osu.edu/composingacc...
Also includes links to this year’s access guide and a history of CCCC access work!
Why yes, I will be at #4C25. No new releases, I’m sorry to say, but I’ll do my best to bring a mischievous sense of delight to the conference.
Don’t make me tap the sign. Strikes are supposed to be disruptive
If you see anyone talking about how the Amazon strike could disrupt the flow of packages:
A character from Emperor's New Groove says to a llama remember to include the trans community in your holiday celebrations after all Christmas without hrts is just C All ismus.
Whoever made this, I salute you and your shorts.
Anyways, I will eventually get around to putting out an edited version of Editor on the Edge, but look for my first entry in the Paranormal Professors in Love series in early 2025!
The end of the term means I'm back on my bullshit and dreaming up my next novelette: Mated to the Mathematician. A math prof who's deeply embarrassed about being a werewolf? Check. A writing studies prof who likes sitting next to him during meetings because he's warm? Check. Shenanigans? Definitely.
The cover for "Editor on the Edge." A white man leans back against a precarious tower of Jenga blocks. The tagline reads, "Will her return make him fall...in love?" There is an award sticker on the book that reads, "Winner of the Best Rhetoric Book with Nudity Award." The author is Reese Submit, PhD.
If you're going to be at RSA this weekend, look for the drop of my newest work: Editor on the Edge! This quick read will give you romance, campus visit shenanigans, and academic crimes. #RSA24 #teamrhetoric
University admins have been talking about looming enrollment declines but I have to admit I didn’t think it’d be because they were going to arrest the students.
My love of internal conflict cannot be overstated. It is eternal. It is pure. Gimme gimme gimme. (This brought to you by me mainlining Kate Clayborn and Mary Balogh simultaneously.)
Welcoming a new bookstore to #Romancelandia www.mprnews.org/story/2024/0...
I'm reading The Other Side of Disappearing, and can we talk about Kate Clayborn is the absolute champion of making you really feel what I can only describe as "ethical yeesh"? Please, someone with better words than me help me out. #Romancelandia
Ravished by Reviewer 2 is now available on Kindle! Bezos doesn’t let you set the price at $0, so I’m donating the cover price of all purchases this weekend to the #4C24 fund for contingent faculty.

A defaced version of the NCTE 4Cs graphic. It reads, "I'm ravishing 2024 CCCC Spokane. (See you in the elevator.)"
4Cs lets goooooo

TFW you just want to write romance and bring yourself joy, but your job that pays you real dollars is too busy to leave time.
