If you could not attend my paper at #RSA24, here is the slide that summarizes more or less my argument: the title page of the Valencia, Juan Jofré, 1514 edition of #Celestina reproduces the compositive scheme of the inner full-page illustrations of Grüninger's edition of #Terence (Strasbourg 1496).

One of the things I enjoy about #RSA24 is going to panels that just sound interesting. Then you get to learn about things like a woman accused of Lutheranism by the Spanish Inquisition after throwing a cat at a picture of a saint... 🙀
