Cool! I’ve never heard of smoke spray. I used incense smoke for some videos, and it showed up a lot more vibrantly and more consistently than the steam does.
The diffraction grating is a lot of fun, but in my experience there’s no good artificial light source substitute for direct sunlight. Of course trying it is the best way to find out, If you prove me wrong I’d love to know what works well for you.
