Found a Radio Spirits box set of Lucille Ball #OldTimeRadio shows this past year, still shrink wrapped. According to Discogs, this set is from 2000 so I'm surprised the wrap has lasted this long intact.

Recently had this video come across my algorithm on YouTube. It's a very neat idea and one that I take to because of how often I'll start reading a particular superhero or line of comics and end up losing track and just falling off.

Decided to start one with the Absolute Universe.

I opted to review this entire serial in a college class and the visuals of this serial always stuck with me. Particularly the rock/cave melting sequence in chapter 5

I wouldn't say I'm a particular gnome fan, but I feel like David and Lisa imprinted on me in youth and that is why I find the bee themed gnomes at Dollar General fascinating. Yeah that sounds correct.

So that being said, I am a fan of the idea of #TheArchers though I've never had an opportunity to start listening. What is amusing is that it's always trending for me on Bluesky

I feel like I always put emphasis on the 'classic' part of @criterion.bsky.social and because of that, it takes me off guard when I see films from my youth added to it. I had a similar feel with @tcmtv.bsky.social schedules in years past.

When your feed dries up for the day, that's your cue to go do something else until new stuff shows up later.

Martin, in a way, already entrusted someone else to finish the book and what we got was season 8.

I'm not sure many even realize what a monumental task finishing that book is now that he has an uphill battle to redeem the story from what the show did.

This was a consistent thing that I recall in my sci fi class in college. Historically speaking,sci fi as a genre or term was generally viewed as being lesser than other fiction or viewed as something authors were ashamed of at times. But, I never really got that feeling from the authors themselves.
