Two posts from the MurderBotBot on wandering. shop. The first says: I had an option, but it was a terrible idea. The second says: 6.4 seconds dragged by (seriously, even a human would notice a pause that long) and ART hadn't said anything. Then it said, That is a terrible idea. Which just pissed me off. "It's a great idea." It was a great idea.

This is one of my absolute favorite exchanges in the #Murderbot Diaries. In Network Effect.

Murderbot accompanies Ratthi, Pin-Lee, and Amena on a trip to the set of Sanctuary Moon. What should have been an easy contract turns into a broken set SecUnit, a murder mystery, and a little bit of trauma.

Murderbot (design based on the tv show) is hiding in a dimly lit hall of scifi space station type setting. It is pressed against the wall, armor damaged and helmet partially broken revealing an eye that is looking to the side with an expression of tense worry. It is also holding out its arm gun in a pose ready to shoot.
