That said…yes, okay…but sadly, this book didn’t quite hook me as well as the first book did and I’m not sure why. Perhaps I was feeling too scattered. Perhaps there was something in the flow of the text that failed to grasp me. (Perhaps it was because of everything Wells mentioned in the afterword.) This is a pie chart showing 18.8% of my reading material was by a white male author, 31.3% I didn't know (fanfiction pseuds), and 50% I knew were not white men.
