Many teams of cavers, since decade have tried to find the passage to link the Fromagère cave nearby! They knew the connection was possible because a diver did it in the 90's but here they manage to go without diving making the connection easier for future cavers and will enable fastest access

Just a bit of context: the Gouffre Berger is world famous in the caving community because it was the first natural cave where explorers reached the - 1000m below ground!
