I’ve had my life in notebooks for years. I wanted to be digital for so long - and in some aspects I am - but my day to day life is all about a highly functional (read: not pretty) grid notebook.

Thankful for the time I spent in Boston w/my #ncte #nwp #alan colleagues over the last week for giving me hope & renewed energy for the work we do.
Thankful to return home to my family, friends, & students.
Also thankful for the break to recharge & reflect before diving back into it all next week.

Yikes. But it looks like something we ought to be watching. Thanks for putting it on my radar.

Not thinking I do anything out of the ordinary, but keeping track of where each of my classes are, what they need to do that day, and who needs what remedie reminders/help and when…it’s a lot to even give the short version to someone who has kindly agreed to step in for you for the day. 2/2

Mind boggling how much I do when I put it in sub plans… Just getting home at 7:30 pm after finally printing sub plans & arranging them on my desk…and I still need to put assignments into Canvas. I know #NCTE24 and #ALAN24 will be worth it, but goodness are sub plans exhausting… 1/2

More coffee than tea - it’s the beverage of choice for my mornings - with a splash of flavored nondairy creamer. Tea is more about soothing ritual - often have had tea with my kid as a chance to slow down and reflect. Both are almost always hot when I have them.

I think I’ve seen this five times - 4 on Broadway, 1 in West End. I cannot wait to go see this in the theater! I’ll do my best to restrain my inner musical theater girl from singing along, but I’m not sure I can promise anything. Even if I still have laryngitis then.

I was in my first play (acting!) since high school recently. I’ve done all sorts of shows behind the scenes for the last 10+ years or so, but this was the first time back in the lights.

Thank you. That helps. But I also realize that a change in management down the road might mean and change in policy. But I’m hoping this stays this way.

I don’t know what I want or need here just yet. I am, however, going in with the awareness that this platform is free (“If you aren’t paying for it, you are the product.”) and that what’s posted on it is public. Maybe I’ve done too much AI PD, but are we making a new training dataset for AI?

I’m realizing that I’ve largely turned into my mom on social media over the last several years. Lurk. Like. Occasionally DM. Promote projects (mostly theater stuff I’ve been involved with). Occasionally brag about my kid. Not sure I’ll come out of my shell yet, but I’m hanging out here.

I guess with the flight of nerdy friends heading here, I’ll dust this off and try to use it.
