Using the summer heat as a way to show tension in the community was interesting. Like in one screen, people were trying to cool off from the heat using the fire hydrant, but only to have it turned off after a car was watered and a confrontation ensued.

Yeah I agree, some of the issues shown in the movie is still relevant today. The close up shots also made me uncomfortable and it felt like I was there during a confrontation.
After watching “Do The Right Thing”, It was both frustrating and sad when the movie ended with no conclusion. The color palette in the movie was also very interesting, the use of warm and saturated lighting signifying the tension in the community.

True, the amount of fake news with click bait titles is problematic and adding AI into this pot just makes it worse. Especially the older generation who can’t differentiate between what’s real and fake online. The abundance of deep fakes and AI generated videos can be used for nefarious reasons.
I agree, the growth of AI is pretty concerning because, the less people do, the less people can do. Since the usage of AI is more frequent than ever and people would rather have an AI program to assist them with answering questions, typing essays, creating codes, etc.
The internet has become a place where people can connect globally and share their experiences, creating informative videos, entertainment, and more. The introduction of AI created a heated debate in the creative community, with some embracing it and others concerned about originality. #MEDIA1802D02
