Personally, it is an album that I actually really enjoy revisiting now (in fact I listened to it earlier tonight!).
That said, I quickly turned around on it after some listens because I realised how much I related to the lyrics & actually came to appreciate the less orthodox musical direction they opted for too.
Probably "One More Light" by @linkinpark for me. Ashamed to admit I was a "hater" when I first heard "Heavy", though I don't recall being vocal online. Nonetheless, there was definitely still a sense of guilt in me when Chester left us.

I am just happy to be sharing my music with a wider audience, making connections with fellow artistes, and seeing things grow gradually. It's been a long, hard road to where things are at for Manic Romance, so I'll take about anything I can from all of this with nothing but gratitude 🙏
As much as I feel I should be getting rewarded fairly for my effort, as should everyone else, I don't actually see how now is much different from how it has been for at least the last nearly 20 years. Maybe just my personal experience, but that's just how I see it!
As for money, I'm making next to nothing yet making more from music than I did in the last nearly 20 years. I was putting my stuff on places there was absolutely no monetisation model back in the day.
I get the why, but when we are already having our voices squashed, what good does it do to take those voices away from where they are most likely to be heard?
I definitely don't believe it's our place to tell people where to listen to our music, and we are really just shooting ourselves in the foot with boycotts and such like.
