Goodnight Hookland. Dream deep.
Goodnight from John and Johanna Hall, sitting stunned amid wreckage of trifle, crockery and coffee, half-convinced one of their dinner party guests was possessed. Goodnight from Max Wheeler, wishing his dog wouldn’t run off chasing invisible hares. Goodnight from Hookland.
And this morning the Shed is a knotted rope, leading up into the clouds…
Sunrise this morning here in Glastonbury.

Looking forward to
That mighty first cup of tea
After early stroll
Early stroll. Horizon like a one-bar electric fire. A curling wave of orange peel. That snail’s long journey. A blackbird’s sculpted song. A dropped piece of string as long as a piece of string.
Tonight’s work in progress. I think this one’s gonna be pretty damn good.
First cup of tea: bury this in a time capsule for future generations to marvel at. Well, just the cup. Let me sup the tea first.

A glass half full,
Hoping for the best,
Optimist on some days,
But mostly very stressed,
Rose coloured vision,
Her clouds with silver lining,
Sometimes slightly grumpy,
But endeavours to be shining.

Goodnight Hookland. Rest well.
Goodnight from Nev Rampley, clothes reeking of petrol and burning after attempts to destroy evidence of his dealings with Faeries in Hedgegate Lane. Goodnight from Sarah Passmore, hoping the cart and call of the phantom cat’s meat man won’t keep her awake. Goodnight from Hookland.
