I saw someone
buying roses
and I thought:
maybe that’s love.

I saw someone
carrying chocolates
and I thought:
maybe that’s love.

I saw someone
entering a jeweler’s
and I thought:
maybe that’s love.

And I saw someone
wearing a mask
and I thought:
that’s definitely love.

OMG do I get to talk about bully breeds again because if you're new to me, this is one of my Enduring Interests.

I love bully breed dogs. I go out of my way to tell people with bully breed dogs how much I love them.

If I could help people understand 2 things about being disabled - it would be:

We try everything. All our spoons go towards trying to get better. Telling us to “try harder” is cruel.

It’s not fun asking for help. When it comes with strings & gaslighting .. it’s not helpful

Heather by Conan Gray is not just about gay longing I absolutely believe it’s about trans lesbian longing and nothing will change my mind. Conan is an egg

People often talk about how traumatic Covid was & use that trauma as an excuse not to mask

Disabled people live with that trauma every day. We are painfully aware the threat hasn’t passed. We have to cope with knowing we would be the first people triaged OUT of healthcare or left by the wayside

I will never understand why even other trans people think it’s okay to misgender someone when they’re mad or don’t like them 🙃

If you’re someone who is still complaining about temporary stay at home orders and how “awful” it was for you to be isolated - why aren’t you masking or taking Covid precautions?

You’re forcing disabled and high risk people to isolate indefinitely - when you deemed it a fate worse than death.

Taking Covid precautions isn’t “living in fear”. It’s living in reality.

Taking steps to avoid infection shows you’re adaptable, compassionate and resilient. It shows you know your health & the health of others is more important than any reckless activities.

It shows you’re not living in denial.

a cartoon with two panels

panel one is a stick figure saying "oh! a fossil fuel!!" standing above a crudely drawn black lump under a brown ground

Panel two is them walking away and saying "I'll just leave it there"

The head of the person is not a drawn circle but the letter O, because the random software I used to draw it did that for unexplained reasons

Possibly but there’s insinuation that witches live for quite a bit longer than humans so like… how did they fall for his tricks after hundreds of years of him being an outcast? Why would they just accept his new ways (the coven system)?

Please tell me I’m not the only one who’s confused about the timelines in The Owl House! How long do witches typically live? Belos has been in Bonesborough for hundreds of years but has only been emperor for 50?

If you drink at a bar or restaurant then you’re using a supervised consumption site. Luckily you are also accessing a safer, regulated supply. Don’t point fingers at people who use their drugs at the other one. Alcohol is a drug too. Supervised consumption sites save lives!

The excerpt from William and the Werewolf showing singular they spelled with a Thorn

The excerpt from William and the Werewolf showing singular they spelled with a Thorn

The first known use of singular “they” is so old that not only does it pre-date singular “you,” it wasn’t even spelled with a “th”

When William and the Werewolf, in 1375 CE, used singular “they,” it was spelled with a Thorn
