Sorry for the sad 1st #ThursJay birb post from me :( Lots of stellar jays around due neighbors feeding peanuts / separately netted a blueberry plant, one day found a jay snared by the net and passed before we could rescue. Tossed the netting forever and bought this pin in remembrance of Blueberry.

Backpack with thin wall separators between camera lenses

Backpack with thin wall separators between camera lenses

That's a nice bag, I wonder how much more room you'd get with thinner walls like the shimoda ones. Good idea getting it on kickstarter, it looks spendy now!!!

roadside sign of Bear facts, with a large bear photo kind of built into the top of the sign, but someone has perfectly placed some googlie eyes that are just SO perfectly sized it makes it into the most entertaining sign in the entire park.

this labeler tells you a bunch of useful things but the killer app is the flag for if somebody’s caught 20+ blocks in a 24-hour period and I never want to be without it again

The Die Hard musical at Portland's Funhouse Lounge was such a unique and amazing masterpiece, I would encourage everyone to go see it.

Different perspective of the Giza pyramids with a majority of the 9 in view, vast expanse of sandy hills in front of them with a few camels in a line traveling through the desert.

Golden sunset in Cairo with a lot of city in the foreground and the Pyramids in the background a considerable distance away. A few Egyptian hawks/eagle are soaring over the city (above the pyramids) and the sun is barely peeking from behind a cloud.

Leaving Egypt today, standard tourist things were amazing and our guide was amazing as well. They really are a great place to visit. We traveled with Archeological Paths and were also on the Jaz Senator Nile Boat on a 10-day "Essence of Egypt" tour. Here are a few photos of the 6k I did yesterday πŸ₯΅

Photo of an Egyptian goose swimming - it has a light neck and body but dark neck and wings and buttt. The eyes have red feathers around them which look pretty cool. The water builds up in front of the duck but then swells down around the sides and then back up to make the wake.

I love the flow of the water around the body because it was swimming upstream so quickly!
