Playing Warframe and Deadlock back to back is confusing. Both have movement tech around sliding, crouching and jumping, but execution is very different.

I keep thinking about how Metaphor lets player to trivially just restart fight as many times as they want, experimenting and even trying cheese, endlessly. But game overs don't have "retry fight" -option. It's not super punishing on autosaves, but it's still interesting.
Massive glow up.
Remember playing Metal Gear Solid 2 on weekend. It was getting late, bit too late, had long gaming session behind me and then the part where Colonel starts getting weird happened, and it spooked me, but when he told me to "shut down the console," I did not hesitate to do so. That freaked me out.
One of my PC case fans has started to make annoying sounds. I should just get new one, but thus far smacking it has worked as physical "remind me later" -button.
Metaphor hit me with "do I recognize this voice actor, or is it just the accent?"
It was just the accent.
Screenshot from Warframe, showing Koumei, puppet-like robot resembling japanese shrine maiden.
First new warframe I got since picking the game up again. Cool puppet shrine maiden. Not sure I care for her gambling powered gameplay, but had to get her just based on visuals (also being easy to grind for helped).

Finished New War -quest in Warframe. It was good. Was worth getting back to game for it. There were some hiccups, but there was some real nice level design build around more limited gameplay. Almost got sad when the normal Warframing returned.
At some point I want to play through "Tsuki no Sabaki", a doujin game parodying Ace Attorney featuring Tsukihime's cast. The concept is amazing & I especially love the design of the Mia-inspired Kohaku!

Cynthia reminds me how little I respect pokemon when it's "difficult" Garchomp almost 10 lvls higher than my starter outspeeds and one shots my whole team. Don't see many tactical ways around that, outside of massive, slow, and annoying grind.
Sure that might scare people away, but they will be scared away eventually anyways.
Been watching Warframe beginner guides and videos and I feel they really handwave the grind. I know the geind is the game, but stuff like beginner weapon guides could mention how much effort it can take to get build online, level the weapon, find the mods so on.
Been thinking and even trying a little Warframe. And it's so intimidating and messy and full of Things. But there are enough fascinating elements that I want to play it even though I know I shouldn't and won't like it.
Happy Transgender Day of Visibility!!! 🏳️⚧️🔪
I'm familiar with them because in Platnum there is mansion where you can do a challenge of fighting 5 maids back to back, in spesified amount of turns. And they use stall tactics to cheat. I'm not salty at all.

Had a real "surely this next match breaks my loss streak and doesn't just make me even more tired and miserable," -evening.
Every time I play Monster Hunter after long time away from it, I get this "Do I even like monster hunter anymore?" -worry. It's slow, hunts take a while, never liked grind. And then I do a hunt where things click again and it feels Good and I Remember how to love it again.
Playing some Monster Hunter recently got me into reading some guides, which varied from decent advice to rants about importance and value or objectively optimized meta. Spending thousands of hours in several games in one series might fry ones brain a bit.
I should not be reading Marathon propaganda tonight, when I'm in "I want to play something new and different" -mood.
