In the end the full 24 hours let the baddies fully succeed in their mission and allowing them ample time to prep for the heroes eventual arrival. The party realized they lost the battle they didn’t show up to, and the showdown will likely be tougher. The result felt natural and cinematic.

Forcing a full 24 delay gives the baddies a good amount of time to accomplish something. Unlike d20 fantasy were pushing on would mean fighting at low power. Pushing on means fighting at high power but likely to kill off a PC or two. 6 stamina and zero recoveries is no joke. (Continued)

Last nights #drawsteel adventure was interesting. The PCs got themselves into an interesting position. Exhausted and in need of respite. It started to dawn on them that some baddies might make some moves during their respite. It really highlighted the respite system. (continued)

Saw #projectHailMary today. Such a great adaptation of the book ❤️ Yes it cuts a lot of the science out but that is what a book can do wonderfully, the movie dealt with the soul of the book. Which is leaning into the strength of the medium.

The main problem is that it is a shifting target. But i guess that is a good reason to do update videos for all the changes each week.

I love Kate Mckinnon’s comedy i think her humor is amazing but when she started throwing down obscure in depth facts about angulerfish on Hot Ones… it was a whole new level of admiration.
