Upon inspection, Altaïr is standing unnaturally still in the middle of the path, partly obscured by some other attendees. He is using his eagle vision, and staring directly at the viewer unblinking. His remaining arm is curled protectively around the back of Karis' neck. Karis has his mutated arm resting over Cynte, the parasite boils having ripped the shirt he's wearing and also started pushing through his hair where they're developing on his face. He has a small, contented smile from having Cynte so close again even if just for a moment.
