The BBC sound engineers have worked their magic on our source material, and the hour long programme will be broadcast late tonight/early Thursday morning at 0000 hours on6Music and will then be available to listen to on BBC Sounds for around a month after broadcast.
I've been feverishly ripping/digitising tracks (from original cassette, vinyl, and CD), & together with author Jamie Taylor, recorded a few links – producing a sequence of tracks & chat which ended up as our @bbc6music.bsky.social Freak Zone Playlist for Ken Patten’s Studio Electrophonique.

A bunch of fans are putting on an exhibition at the University Of Sheffield Drama Studio (15-18 May). There'll be a live event with bands who are carrying the torch of the Cabs' ethos, to be held on Friday 16 May at the Drama Studio, featuring #RussellHaswell, #Prangers, and #SynthClub.
