Christian Bale’s nonprofit, “Together California,” is building a $22 million village in Palmdale to keep foster care siblings together.

Tracy Smith visits Bale’s project, which includes 12 homes, transitional housing, and a community center, aiming to provide stability for vulnerable children.

Almost HALF of the kids in the state are insured by Medicaid, including almost ALL kids in foster care.

Who are we as a state and a country if we don't care for our kids?

The cuts as proposed would be crushing. To suggest even more is just heartless.
