I touch on this in the main duology, but my prequel novelette(s) share more. These stories are less about the MCs' childhoods in themselves, and more about the contexts they're coming from. They provide an avenue to expand stories into their home clans...

I know I am biased, but I really got invested in Kye's test here (even though I knew the outcome from Wraith). I still have to read the last newsletter instalment, but I may wait until the release to read it!
