From the book:

"Bother!' said Rabbit, "He's gone out."
He went back to the green front door, just to make sure, and he was turning away, feeling that his morning had got all spoilt, when he saw a piece of paper on the ground. And there was a pin in it as if it had fallen off the door.
"Ha!" said Rabbit, feeling quite happy again.
"Another notice!".
This is what it said:
GON OUT
BACKSON
BISY
BACKSON C.R.
"Ha!" said Rabbit again, "I must tell the others". And he hurried off importantly.
The nearest house was
Owl's, and to Owl's House in the Hundred Acre Wood he made his way.*

3 tiny white mushrooms. Possibly Bark Bonnets. Some kind of bonnrt. Or possibly Oak Leaf Pinewheels. I can’t tell if they’re growing from the leaf or from the wood.

Oh wow. I’ve found muscaria, phalloides, western yellow veiled and western panthers in the past 3 weeks and the season is just starting?

4 shots of the same view of a cluster of tiny upside down gray mushrooms on the bottom of a log. They’re amorphous and the gills are mazelike. Pictures go from closup to panned out. Photo 3 has a pen tip for scale. The whole cluster is about an inch long.

And I found more in my two months in Eugene than here, though I’m told it has to do with a certain amount of rainfall.
This year has been good for witches hats and what seem to be scarlet waxcaps. Have yet to see a parrot mushroom around here. Too much green stuff growing…

Back side of stereum is smooth; stereum is a crust fungus with neithee gills or pores. I don’t have the science to explain how it spores.

Pretty sure that is leocarpus. Ironically, I found my best sample on the side of the road in Eugene on a piece of fir. And we’re having a terrible winter for slimes in NorCal. Getting lots of hygrocybes, tho!

North Carolina tuberculosis cases are on the rise for the first time in decades Cases of the world’s deadliest infectious disease have been increasing in the U.S. in recent years

tuberculosis outbreaks in Kansas, North Carolina & Ohio.

CDC aren’t permitted to update the public & people are not being advised of the risk or told to mask.

There’s evidence that COVID causes immune system damage which could lead TB to reactivate.

A respirator prevents both Covid & TB. Mask up!

Asking again if you do or do not welcome unsolicited identification. Since this isn’t iNaturalist I can’t assume we’re open to possibly misidentifying something. So I try not to unless it’s likely to kill you.
