This losers corner is something different, I know I keep saying this but is one of my favourite things I've written for WTT so far 🙊

Who needs travel when you've got British weather cycling between 15 different seasons in any given hour? Feel like I've been through continents and it was only a dog walk

Trans women are biological women. Trans men are biological men. Please stop using the phrase “biological” to distinguish cis from trans people. Cis does just fine and you’re also revealing your own ignorance of how biology works, as well as underlying inherent transphobia, even if unintentionally.

A golden Labrador sat on a green sofa, he is looking at the camera very happy, he is wearing a mint bow tie on a blue collar, and has a dog safe easter egg at his feet. It is his birthday

This is the same dog with a much more sad face, the face of a man who did not receive birthday wishes yet.

Felix is 11 day. Wish him happy birthday or he'll call the RSPCA on you🥺

This interview has been one of my favourites to do for WTT, it's definitely not one to miss 🙌

So thankful for the people that turned up and advocated and those who made the amendment, wins are possible 🙌

I am home now and a whole wave of emotion washes over me. We did it.We defeated this. We weaponised a motion against those who wished to use it against us.

I just wanted to scream on the way back home. I don't even live in Darlington, but I feel something good has happened today, for all of us.

Don't ignore this.
They did the same thing in Bassetlaw this kind of motion may become more and more common if we don't stop it NOW.

It was cathartic to write and record but only because the actual news of it was so vexing 🫠

In a rare event, this episode clocks in just under an hour lmao we did actually finally write a short one 😌

Before I joined WTT, I used to stream, including a longer charity stream on mother's day cus it's a struggle for some (also for me lol) and we're trying to bring it back

I'd also buy this guy some treats and feed him when we hit goals... You wouldn't want him to get no treats right? 😥

I mention my tattoo in this ep, so here it is (as much as I'll show publicly 👀)

It's the path of my chronic pain (one of), the tat is a reclamation of sorts/honouring that. Also spot the all bruises that's a hEDS thing, the finally known cause of said pains lmao #disability #ehlersdanlos

When we saw it in our photos looking an article image we immediately knew it was the perfect one so thank you for making it!

Fun fact, the script for this episode was nearly 11,000 words (that's not including notes beforehand and previous drafts)

This is still shorter than Levy, and dare I say a smidgen more fun to listen to 🤭

🆕 The Darlington Nurses were not harassed by a trans colleague but a court rules trans women in single-sex spaces "violates dignity"

It goes against two rulings that say otherwise 🤔

Still not seen the full judgment, but notably the ET dismissed the harassment claim against Rose Henderson, the trans woman in the Darlington Nurses case.

Yet another trans woman who has been publicly demonised after doing nothing wrong.

@ashleigh.whatthetrans.com asked me to do something silly, and of course I obliged 😇

So if you dodge the kings speech like I do here's your alternative lmao

There's nothing quite like a silly little side project to remind you why you do the things you do 🥲

5/ What do the experts say?

“At its heart, it maintains and reinforces a system built on clinical control of and power over trans communities,” Dr Horton tells QueerAF.

“There is no effort to improve accountability. No recognition of institutional transphobia. No recognition of clinical violence”

The Levy Review: A scathing audit of NHS Trans+ healthcare that isn’t radical enough to fix the problems.

@wearequeeraf.com and @whatthetrans.com take a first look at the long-awaited review into adult gender services in the UK 🧵

It is a sign of how fundamentally abused and traumatised trans communities are in the UK that many folks are responding to Levy with relief and cautious welcome.

It could have been a lot worse.

But it fundamentally fails to deliver meaningful improvements to trans healthcare. 1/4

Did you know a study found prostate tissue can develop in some trans men when on HRT? Cus I didn't!

This ep is particularly cool because I got a chance to speak with Zine maker Dion Nolan about his Zine "Sex with Trans Men" a topic not spoken about enough! Go learn!
