The classic #arcade game "Road Fighter" has just received a surprisingly accurate #homebrew port for the #MasterSystem,
developed by @badcomputer.bsky.social and with music by @chirinea.bsky.social

You can download it right here for free!

Awesome, I'm going to try adding joystick support too in the future.

Nice, hopefully it behaves itself. No dos extenders on this one.

I was wondering why line 95 was there . It didn't seem to have a purpose.

This is the first time I've made DOS freeware in 20 years. The time was right, and what a ride. I made sure it can run on my Tandy 2500, a 386SX/20, off a floppy. You can play via browser too.

Check the others out too. So many good games!

This is the latest build of my DOS game jam game. It’s currently 208kb, single executable, and that’s with a bunch of standard C libraries still linked in. Plays well, too IMHO :D

I have used an exe packer to reduce it a bit too. I think the unpacked exe is about 100k. I could save some more space by reducing the number of characters in the font set too. But I'm happy with the current size so I'll probably leave it at that.

Yeah I can take a look. It should be doable. I still have the stubs in the code for playing the sfx.
