#Axios has over 70 million weekly #npm downloads. On March 31, 2026, two malicious packages impersonating new Axios versions were published. If you didn't notice, no worries — your CI/CD pipeline probably didn't either. Time to check those lockfiles.

You need a helping hand to ship your project, some backlog that needs doing, optimization work - I'm all in.

#unity, C#, php, database and backend stuff. Hit me up.

#PHP streams have a built-in notification system.

Set a callback in the stream context. Get called on CONNECT, MIME_TYPE, FILE_SIZE, PROGRESS, COMPLETED.

Download progress bars. In pure PHP. No curl_setopt. No ReactPHP.

This callback has existed since PHP 5.2!

In case somebody forgot to inform you: no, you won't get that entry-level IT job. AI will do it instead. Choose some different career path.

Oh and no, nobody knows where those senior developer skills will come from in the future. But still you won't get that job.

If you write a tech blog you are cool.

BUT:

If you don't add the date I will haunt you and your children and the children of your children.

Security Tip: Add Authorisation at the Start! [Tip #116] Is it a "premature optimisation" to add authorisation to your app before you know how your authorisation will be structured?

Is it a "premature optimisation" to add authorisation to your app before you know how your authorisation will be structured, or should you consider authorisation and add placeholders when writing new code and building new features from the start?

A try catch in php showing that's not mandatory to specify a variable name in the catch clause.

A try catch in php showing that's not mandatory to specify a variable name in the catch clause.

So it's not mandatory to specify a variable name to catch an exception in #PHP? 😮

Feel kind of dumb to find such tiny tips now 😅

There are no built-in PHP functions which start with the letter "Y".

And only one which starts with a "W".

Hello World in Docker: a good days work.

I've always been a fan of the boy scout rule: "Always check code in cleaner than when you checked it out."

Simply try make code a little bit better than when you checked it out. Small efforts aggregate into big wins.

Why would smth. simple as this be so hard for some?

Learning a #programming language with AI support is completely different game. I wonder when and how schools and universities will adopt. From what I see, at the moment the institutions tend to simply ignore or ban it.

Playing with #rust is a constant battle: I want to store something to the memory, rust wants to get rid of it.

Friday afternoon, 2 days break from developing for money ... what do you think? Should I take a dive into #rust or try some #golang? Or maybe some lessons in #lisp?
