This will be one of my last posts on bluesky, since it is pointless and I use mastodon for 99% of the time anyway. Corporate social media is dead, the rute it's taking is always preset, wether its twitter, facebook or bluesky. The good thing is, there is an alternative!
There are platforms that enable you to do things way beyond corporate social media. In the future I will migrate to another instance and probably I will check out friendica (macroblogging) & misskey. For me mastodon is just the first within the Fediverse as a whole. I Hope to see you there!
Too be fair, it takes a while to get accustomed to federated networking. But now I feel like I don't miss anything. I can even follow people on bluesky from over there. I feel like i explored just 1% or less of what the Fediverse really has to offer yet. But that is great!

Lol, mastodon too complicated? Its simple compared to other fediverse platforms. People are just used to getting fed with shit. I also needed two attempts, but now I only use mastodon, I login here only once or twice a month. Don't want to miss the fediverse, its just much more genuine.
I prefer the fediverse, the content is more interesting and personal. And yes, your admin can block other instances, but you can also go to another instance easily. And what people don't understand, the fediverse isn't just mastodon, you can choose from a variety of platforms that talk to eachother.
