Keep in mind that it was as Trump was nominating a potential Secretary of Defense who appears open to supporting an auto-coup in 2028 that he began talking about arresting blue-state governors who defy him over...
...“immigration,” supposedly.
But he was moving a key auto-coup Overton Window, too.
They keep saying to me that freedom ain't free,
But I pay through the nose for nothing I see.
They rise high and I get low,
But at least we observed the courtesy.

Mind the gap, bro
*ahem* the name is Pippin actually
SORRY SORRY SORRY SORRY
Oh it was before that, they cued up this argument in 2009 against the ACA. Somehow every right winger was convinced that every health malady was because you ate the wrong food and got fat, so why should they pay for it, you dirty pig.
Then they kept eating KFC.
Turned out I'd made the mistake because I had mistakenly believed I'd flown across the International Date Line the week before. I hadn't. Instead I'd spent The Entire Week believing it was one day forward from the day it was.
This was before smartypants phones so to have my argument with the gate agent, I had to go print the ticket email with the full information on it from a kiosk. This flight was also to move out of a country forever so I didn't have anywhere to go for the 24 hours.
I went to the airport 24 hours early once, arriving at 5:30 a.m. for a 7:30 international flight with my confirmation number and flight number in hand.
Don't think Wendy Weatherby's on Bluesky yet, but she does a great version here.
Cock Up Your Beaver. Had this song stuck in my head the other day. It's about a dude with a new hat that's just a bit too slick.
I enjoy the name AND the fact that there are a lot of Scottish trad songs about hats.

I'm shocked! Well, not that shocked.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not so apologies if I've misread, but nope that all costs the usual tens of thousands.
If somebody is still insisting on bad ideas after being presented good countering evidence, they're irrationally obstinant, a cynical grifter with financial interest in misleading, or dumb.
Tldr you're right but it only works in a good faith situation and I think we blew that popsicle stand.
You're not wrong, but I do tend to think that most of the people who get called dumb for having bad ideas have had NUMEROUS opportunities to put their ideas up for discussion.
Ooooh love this!
I'm still salty about how dirty she got done in 2020
...unless?
Remember when we were going to have a probiotic douche that made your cooch smell like peaches? That was what, 2015? I'M SO TIRED OF TECH BROS.
I've got so little but you take so much
A silly plan, but you got so rich
What ya gonna do when my money's gone
You got my cash now you want my bones
It's thinning here, out by the edge
One drama and it'll surely crack
An infinite approach to ruin
But your priority needs are on my back
New song in dev: Money and Bones. About capitalist rent-seeking practices. I gave lyrics to Husband at his request and obviously it sounds amazing already. Now to come up with some harmonies and fiddle fills.
I really enjoyed the stuff that got suggested to me in the early days of filesharing. There was a platform pre-Limewire and post-Napster that did a great job suggesting unknown bands to me I bought a lot of CDs that way. Can good sharing algorithms do that?
Plays in the background and doesn't cut off when you scroll or look at a different screen. Downloadable. Tracks purchasable and portable into various apps. Easy click to see liner/artist notes.
Just lists and videos and new tracks people are posting! Nothing curated, I'm just excited ☺️
Trans Pride NI SILENT PROTEST. We are calling for a silent protest outside Stormont this Thursday to protest against the banning of puberty blocks for trans kids. #TRANSKIDSDESERVEBETTER
After the news that the NI Executive will ban puberty blockers 'indefinitely', Trans Pride NI are organising a silent protest at Stormont on Thursday 12 December at 5pm.
Please share widely as we need to get as many people there as possible.
Thanks
Omg new followers and SO MANY ARTIST PLAYLISTS! If I haven't followed you back, it's because I'm slow; if I haven't liked your latest tracks, it's because I haven't got there yet - but I WANT to and I love this!
I'll get in on that action
