"Well, pizza offensively then?!" Best thing I've read all day. 🤣
White background. There’s a blue puzzle piece with an orange circle crossing it out. Text reads: Before you donate to Autism Speaks, Consider the facts.
White background. Text reads: Very little money donated to Autism Speaks goes toward helping autistic people and families. Only 1/10 of 1% of Autism Speaks’ budget goes towards the “Family Service” grants that are the organization’s means of funding services. Autism Speaks spent more than 188x as much on fundraising. They spent 16x as much on Facebook/ Instagram ads alone. Although Autism Speaks has not prioritized services with a practical impact for families and individuals in its budget, its rates of executive pay are the highest in the autism world: some salaries exceed $415,000 a year. Autism Speaks talks about us without us. Autism Speaks has only 2 autistic people out of a total of 27 individuals on its Board of Directors. By contrast, 16 out of 27 board members represent major corporations, including current and former CEOs and senior executives of AutoZone, Goldman Sachs, SoundCloud, White Castle, MasterCard, and S.C. Johnson & Johnson.
White background. Text at the top reads: Autism Speaks’ Budget. Source: Autism Speaks 990 Non-Profit Tax Exemption Form, 2024* There’s a pie chart with the following sections: 49.4% “Awareness” & Lobbying, 22% Fundraising, 19.4% Research, 9.1% Misc., and 0.1% Family Services. Text at the bottom reads: *“Awareness & Lobbying” figure derived from reported program service expenses on Part III, 4a & 4c less the total amount awarded in family service grants (“Family Services”) and misclassified research grants as reported in Part III, Line 4A; “Research” figure derived from reported program service expenses in Part III, 4b plus the misclassified research grant amount; “Fundraising” figure derived from reported expenses, line 25(D) in Part IX.
Blue background with white text that reads: Instead, donate to organizations that help autistic people: Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) provides support, community, and public policy advocacy, by and for people on the autism spectrum. autisticadvocacy.org Autistic Women and Nonbinary Network (AWN) seeks to share information which works to build acceptance and understanding of disability, while dispelling stereotypes and misinformation which perpetuate unnecessary fears surrounding an autism diagnosis. awnnetwork.org Self Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE) works to ensure that people with disabilities are treated as equals and are given the same decisions, choices, rights, responsibilities, and chance to speak up to empower themselves as everyone else. sabeusa.org

What if the reason you're certain that your Reps won't listen to you is because you live in a state like Texas or Florida?
What if you are certain that your Reps won't listen to you?
The contingent of white centrist trans women trying to assimilate as they scold the rest of us for being unpalatable and wanting liberation. Also, the Body Positivity normies who still somehow believe attraction to fat bodies can only be pathological and dehumanizing.
What if you're certain that your members of Congress won't listen to you?

Chicago Chili's has fired a trans manager who uses they/them pronouns saying it objects to their "personal values and lifestyle" apparently in conflict with S/C's Bostock decision which bans workplace discrimination based on gender identity.
Into the garbage bin they go, right next to Target.
We don’t need your shitty brands! You’re expendable but trans people are not.
Light pink graphic titled “Double your impact for the Native Writing Intensive!” Beneath the title text is an illustration of hands reaching out and holding hearts, which they’re depositing into a glass jar. There’s also a search engine containing the shortened URL: “bit.ly/2026NativeIntensive”, which will redirect folks to a fundraising page where they can donate to support WNDB’s 2026 Native Writing Intensive.

A newspaper headline from over a century ago, reading: WOMEN ANARCHISTS HAVE BECOME THE TERROR OF WORLDS POLICE Their Daring Crimes Are Said to Have Out- stripped the Deeds of Brothers of the Red Search for the Woman is Becoming a Safe Rule in Crimes Proceeding From Anarchistic Violence—The Guardians of the World Nearly Always Finda Woman Implicated When a Ruler is Stricken Down—Emotional Women Lose Sense of Fear.
Happy International Women's Day. 🏴
Matt has been a mentor and a friend to half the critics coming up in the past few decades. He helped me get my very first gig. His bookstore is a treasure trove of gorgeous art and behind the scenes knowledge. I can't recommend it enough.
4 frame comic. the first frame shows Fredrick Brennan, the second shows the 8chan logo, the third shows the 8chan homepage, the fourth shows birds flying out of a tree near a house on a pink sky. the text reads, across the four frames : I was saddened to learn about the recent passing at 31 of fredrick brennan. he was born with brittle bone syndrom, an inherited genetic disease, and early in his life, deve- lopped the belief that people like him should be forcibly sterilized. at 12, he joined 4chan, which further radicalized him into incel culture and white supremacy. when 4chan banned discussions about gamergate, he decided to create the unmoderated 8chan. but after a few years, he realized how his creation brought out the worst in people. he gave the web- site to his associate, and went on to spend the rest of his life back- tracking on the politics of his youth, trying to get the website shut down and making amends. I wouldn't say that we were friends, but we did talk several times. he first reached out to me in 2018 to offer a formal apology for the harassment and doxxing I suffered from 8chan. after that, he kept monitoring the forums, and would let me know whenever people were planning to cause trouble at my public talks and things like that. when I think about brennan's complicated story and legacy, I'm reminded how people can change. his change of heart inspired me to keep creating through hardships. I hope you rest in peace, fredrick. apologies accepted.
Apologies accepted.
Multi-panel comic about calling health insurance and discovering forgotten payments. Top left: Text reads, “Yesterday, I finally called my health insurance.” A computer screen shows a bank statement. A voice says, “Okay, I can’t see any insurance payments for at least 4 months.” Top right: The ADHD Alien character sits at a desk, talking on the phone with papers in front of her. Text reads, “I was pretty proud of myself for handling it.” She says, “…and I was wondering how much I owe you, and why no payments were taken from my account.” Middle left: The voice replies, “…okay…so it seems like you have been paying. Payments HAVE automatically been taken from your account.” Middle right: The bank statement highlights “Health insurance $430.” The character says, “what the…” Bottom panel: Dramatic close-up of the character’s intense, confused face with distorted lighting. Small speech bubbles read, “Whu–?” and “Wh–?” and “?”
Is this reverse ADHD tax??? A parallel universe? I swear I checked like 5 times and saw NOTHING
Hey, you still have every right to be proud of yourself! The fact that you don't actually owe any money is just a bonus. 👍
"Something must be done! War would mean a prohibitive increase in our taxes."
"Hey, I got an uncle lives in Taxes."
"No, I’m talking about taxes – money, dollars!"
"Dollars! That's where my uncle lives! Dollars, Taxes!"
Favorite part. 🤣
Blue textured background. There is a map of the US in the middle where the following states are highlighted orange: Alaska, Montana, South Dakota, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Texas, Louisiana, and Florida. Text reads: 9 states are suing the US government to threaten disability rights in a case called Texas v Kennedy. Here’s what you need to know and how you can take action!
Blue textured background with a white box with text. Text reads: WHAT IS TEXAS V KENNEDY? Texas v Kennedy is about Section 504 rules. Section 504 is an important law that says groups who get money from the US government cannot discriminate against disabled people. Law and rules are different. The new lawsuit does not want to get rid of the Section 504 law. The Section 504 law says that you can’t discriminate against disabled people if you get money from the United States government. The Section 504 rules explain what disability discrimination is. Texas v Kennedy is only about the Section 504 rules.
Blue textured background. Text reads: WHAT DO THE SECTION 504 RULES DO? The main rule that states are suing over in Texas v Kennedy is called the integration mandate. The integration mandate says that all people with disabilities have a right to live, work, and get services in the community. When we say “the community”, we mean places that are not only for disabled people. The integration mandate means that disabled people cannot be forced to live in institutions if we can live in the community instead.
Blue textured background. Text reads: WHAT DO THE SECTION 504 RULES DO? But the integration mandate isn’t the only rule under threat in Texas v Kennedy. If the states suing have their way, other important rules will go away, including rules that: Protect disabled people from discrimination when we go to the doctor; Stop doctors from making choices about our medical treatment because they have bad opinions about our disabilities; Make sure that medical equipment like exam tables and x-ray machines are accessible to people with disabilities; And much more.
Disability rights are under attack! Check out our plain language action alert to learn about Texas v Kennedy, a lawsuit about Section 504 rules. autisticadvocacy.org/2026/02/take...

The SAVE America Act and other extreme anti-voter bills are on the move in Congress and must be stopped.
These bills aren't about safeguarding elections — they're about silencing voters. Tell your Senator to oppose these attacks on our democracy.
I love out of context vintage comic panels! This one is a personal favorite of mine.
President Trump's efforts to end birthright citizenship are part of a broader effort to redefine who belongs in our country — we refuse to let that happen.
Add your name to support the fundamental right of birthright citizenship.
Congress is pushing through bills that could exclude millions of eligible U.S. citizens from voting.
Call your Senator now and demand they vote NO on any bill that makes it harder for us to vote.
