Trump gave Iran the opportunity to close the Strait of Hormuz. He put them in a position of power. All of the consequences, including the economic ones, are uniquely his fault.
💜🤍💙
That's OUR money he's bragging about stealing. Corrupt, thieving, fu*kers.
Stunning!

Oh, NO. Those last days/hours are just plain torturous. I'm so sorry. Sending both of you comforting vibes. 💔
People keep talking about e-bikes, e-trikes, e-scooters, and other power-assisted mobility like they are toys, shortcuts, or something to sneer at. But for a lot of people they are freedom machines. They turn impossible trips into possible ones. They turn pain into manageability, distance into

Because it would take $ out of the pockets of corporations and billionaires. That's why I always bought used cars, liability only insurance, and drove them as little as possible for 20+ years. Saved my $ so I could move abroad & live in a walkable city. Car expenses now = $0
This photo shows a close-up view of vibrant wildflowers in a grassy field under a stormy sky. In the foreground and midground, there are tall, spiky flower stalks with white and deep purple buds, some still tightly closed and others beginning to bloom. In the lower right, bright blue-purple flowers with white centers are in full bloom. The background features a wide-open meadow with green and yellow vegetation stretching to the horizon.

They paused Oversight Committee hearings the minute we started getting answers about the Epstein files.
Now it’s “roundtables”: no rules, no oaths, no subpoenas.
You do the math. Because the moment accountability shows up, they shut it down. The survivors deserve better.
This tiny marine creature, the leaf sheep, not only looks adorable but also performs photosynthesis. Who knew cuteness could be so powerful?
Here is another cab I made from this unknown agate. So far I have heard untreated Botswana and Brazilian. What do think? It is a beauty! #bluewizardrocks #lapidary #cabochon #jewelry
A World of Agates — Fady Kamar’s Exhibit at the Munich Show 2025
Microcrystalline quartz forms in rhythmic bands through silica-rich groundwater deposition over millions of years. Each layer records different mineral conditions, creating the distinctive banding patterns that make every agate unique. 📖
❤️❤️❤️
This black-and-white portrait captures Maggie Kuhn (1905–1995), the indomitable founder of the Gray Panthers, an activist group that revolutionized the fight against ageism. Seated in a relaxed yet attentive pose, Kuhn is seen in her later years, radiating a sense of sharp-witted wisdom and gentle defiance. She is dressed in a dark, structured, button-down jacket with a small round collar, featuring a prominent circular political button pinned to her left chest—a hallmark of her lifelong commitment to grassroots organizing. Her silver hair is elegantly swept back, and she wears thin-framed glasses that highlight her keen, observant eyes and a slight, knowing smile. Her hands, weathered by time and adorned with simple rings, rest naturally in her lap, one draped over the arm of what appears to be a patterned chair. The background is softly out of focus, showing a glimpse of indoor foliage and a textured wall, suggesting a television studio or public forum setting where she frequently challenged societal norms. The composition is a medium shot that focuses on her presence as a formidable public figure. The mood is one of dignified strength and intellectual vitality, serving as a powerful visual testament to her legacy as a champion for intergenerational justice and the rights of the elderly.

Maggie Kuhn was forced to retire at 65 & dedicated the rest of her life to fighting ageism & advocating for older adults' rights. Founded Gray Panthers, 1970. Was instrumental in the ban on mandatory retirement.
Active until her death #OTD in 1995 at 89.
That's why we needed to prosecute the organizers of Jan 6, not just the useful idiots. If there's no penalty for trying to overthrow democracy, people will do it again.
The Heritage Foundation is just blocks from the Capitol. It's a damn shame no one got their Jan 6 security cam footage in time.
You certainly deserve better than the self-flagellation that is Taco Bell.
Indeed, it is!
You certainly earned those epsom salts - and a massage!
Hat's off to you! What an awesome project. Wish I was there to see it in person (and take a closer look at your irrigation design!)
Love them! And, I bet they helped - they certainly cheered me up 😄
Bravo! Congratulations on ALL of the milestones you've achieved. Enjoy the moment - and keep building on it, now that you *know* that you can overcome the obstacles that life puts in your path. 👊🏻
No Is a Complete Sentence
You do not owe anyone an explanation of why your answer is no. You do not have to justify your limits or apologize for having them. 'No' is not rude. It is not unkind. It is honest — and it is yours to give freely.
Where in your life does a boundary need honoring?

Yesterday, I expressed to my team how I am absolutely not fond of "lunch and learns" they keep wanting to schedule.
Even when lunch is provided, it's still another hour of work. I use lunch to refocus and relax.
And free lunch is great and all but so is not working an extra hour.
I'm with you on this.
