FUNDED! The titular winged, white-gentleman Keel sits on a stack of books featuring his own life, confusingly stating "...What the hell?" as he skims through the pages. Confetti rains all around.

Two comic panels, one showing a winged man pausing mid-flight, before quickly transitioning to a panel of him falling down as his feathers are severed.

You should support my friend! This comic really is incredibly good, with strong writing, great art, and a robust world, and I want to see them take flight with this. Even just a little can go a long way (especially with the Canadian dollar how it is right now)

Hi! Would you mind sharing where you're getting your stainless steel hardware? I can't find any my way and would love to get my hands on some

Oh the sun is gorgeous today, perhaps I'll set up my cot and chair and do some crafting outside. Still on doctor's rest orders but that would be real nice

Ah yes, April, when The Curse begins again (a queen bee just flew into my apartment and tried to fly in my mouth (this happens a lot, bees, spiders, flies, butterflies, ants, a beetle one time))

Oh wow! Almost 150 followers! Thanks all for coming to check out what I got going on! I will be doing some #shortfiction and the like soon, doctor's orders! Keep your eyes peeled (I might also do some more art and wood carving)

My first ever #woodcarving project! ᒥᐢᑕᐳᐢ ᒍᐞᐍᑯᑐᐤ Jackrabbit whistle! I'm very proud that it turned out so well. I'm gonna make a matching one of a sharp shinned hawk some day

The work week begins, and I suppose I should return to work on my thesis. Or, perhaps, I could continue my all time streak of naps?

Assignment is done, further #knitting complete, just another two inches before I start turning the heel on these socks, and I sketched out the #woodcarving for a wooden whistle with a little jackrabbit on the front. Just need to dig out my bit brace from the tool trunk.

Currently #knitting some socks, today is set aside for my final assignment and tending to my sweetgrass and sprouting corn and squash, and if I'm really well behaved (read: don't feel too sick) I might do some #woodcarving

Woke up to 123 followers! Oh my gosh! Hello everyone thank you for joining me! I will be doing more writing this summer as soon as I finish up this part of my master's, and I have some crafts on the horizon too! Keep your eyes peeled for #anniewrites and #anniearts

Hey happy #sapphicsaturday I made this doodle a while ago but I want to celebrate before I go on a date with my wife for their birthday.

Yesterday I got to see a stellar Jay, a red wine blackbird, a house Finch, a bunch of mallards and robins on a little walk. Also I got to hear the cacophonous racket of crows beginning to nest. Weighs out to be an excellent bird experience

Colloquium presentation done! I got through half my notes, went two minutes over, and got four full room laughs. Good questions after, too. As soon as I get home it is time to turn into sludge and sleep for 15 hours.

Every single Indigenous person I know is warning folks about this but the rising chorus of "you need to put YOUR issues (they are Canada's issues, fuckasses) on the backburner it's all hands on deck" is overwhelming. Funny - when do Canadians have to put their shit on the backburner for us?

My research, without giving too much away and doxxing myself, is about #2spirit connection and relation to the land, and our roles in our communities. I'm very excited to present on it but also very nervous! Wish me luck and a receptive crowd!

Today is National Indigenous Languages Day.
It is a day to celebrate the more than 70 distinct Indigenous spoken by the First Nations people, Metis and Inuit in Canada.
Currently, many Indigenous languages spoken in Canada are considered at risk, vulnerable or endangered.
