- Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders.

- Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

So am I reading this court decision correctly? We now have 50 micronations with their own laws interpreting the U.S. Constitution wholly separate from one another? But there's one guy with private law enforcement who is immune from all punishment who can do whatever he wants in those 50 states?

Not very punchy, but kind of poetic, given I'm terminal and all.

Oh yes. “not X, not Y, Z.” Once you start noticing the patterns it’s impossible not to see it everywhere. What worries me is that now if your writing is a little too polished people assume AI. I hate that I think about this as I’m writing but I’ll probably also be avoiding that one going forward 

The concessio hurts me more than reluctantly retiring my dramatic emdash pivot. That’s the spice of my argument style! I don’t know who I am if I can’t “it’s not just X, it’s Y” you to death 😭

Honestly, it's only because I would eat a T-Rex that I still eat chicken. At this point, I don't consume any other meat. PETA gave me a really convincing argument here.

Life advice

AI has decisively killed my love affair with the em dash and concessive arguments. The tell is unmistakable, and it's all over certain genres right now.

Cautiously hopeful for this and neural tech!

I check in with ChatGPT every few months and the rate of development is mind blowing. The conversation is not unlike speaking to a people pleasing low level coworker. I worry that at some point I won’t be able to tell the difference anymore.

I can talk myself into circles about AI. It has so many wonderful possibilities and yet, given how awful humans are, every advancement in this space terrifies me.
