Venus Pool this morning. Water levels unsurprisingly low but I have seen them lower. Cormorants, Egrets and Herons taking advantage of the food. 5 Egyptian Geese, 2 Green Sandpipers, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Common Snipe and a beautiful juvenile Greenshank (pictured) #Shropshirebirding

Cemlyn beach on Anglesey never fails to disappoint, its one of my favourite places.
On arrival, hundreds of Golden Plover were glittering in the sky, and this Rock Pipit was happy to feed close in, its wriggly lunch curling itself around its beak but was devoured soon after
