Y'all, I made ONE change, ONE decision, and now I'm basically rewriting the entire novel because it irrevocably alters the relationship of two major characters

Draft 1: peaceful convo around a fire where characters explain magical creatures

Draft 4: super heated, characters being held back before they jump on each other, and the magical creatures are now created with dead bodies

I love writing fantasy even though it takes 100 years 💙
