If there was one thing I don't like about my massage schools culture is that the staff is very anti gym. The gym isn't the cause of all body problems, if anything bodybuilding/crossfit culture which dominate people's influences in how to work out is part of the problem.
This sickens me. I am slated to give a conference talk, professionally (public sector science), in Boise, in May. Even if this is vetoed, or successfully challenged, I am inclined to cancel my talk and eat the airline ticket (I’m only reimbursed if I travel).
What’s next for you? We’re trying to figure out how to scale the mutual aid model—not just keeping our hub going but offering it as almost a pilot program for voter turnout to candidates across the country, especially at the state and local level. A lot of people running have already reached out asking for advice on working with 501(c)(3)s, making events accessible, keeping the barrier to entry low. We want this to be the expectation, not the exception.
