Server Safety Investigation Yesterday, at 10:02 PM ET, Beacon was brought offline for investigation of a reported means to forcibly join a user without their consent and abuse client-side scripts. Since this is an issue that exploits the game's peer to peer capabilities, it would not be able to be mitigated by any custom server. This is a cautionary measure: no P2P attacks have been confirmed or reported. We are investigating the safety and feasibility of continuing service for Beacon. We are aiming to have a definitive answer about the immediate future of Beacon within the coming days. Rest assured, we are committed to finding solutions to continue enjoying our favorite game together.
