Please repost! We're hiring a postdoc to work with me and
@salagapan.bsky.social on an exciting interdisciplinary project in human neuroscience and brain-body interactions underlying effortful behavior in health and mood disorders.

Thrilled to see our TinyRNN paper in @nature! We show how tiny RNNs predict choices of individual subjects accurately while staying fully interpretable. This approach can transform how we model cognitive processes in both healthy and disordered decisions. doi.org/10.1038/s415...
Don't understand the downers on LLMs' usefulness. Today they helped me:
- write a script to resize SVG figures to prep for publication
- reformat LaTeX tables
- debug my LaTeX build for me, actually finding the exact error I had missed
GH Copilot's agent mode has made it especially easy
I'm a libertarian, so I don't necessarily support all government spending, but the public should be at the very least aware of the benefits of science:

Very proud to announce that @posit.co has joined the opensourcepledge.com. We're committing to spending $2000 / developer / year to support open source software that we use (but don't develop): posit.co/blog/posit-p... #rstats #pydata
🤖 🧠 🧪 New #Preprint Alert! Imagine AI systems that can learn and adapt on-chip while displaying minimal energy usage. We've just made a step towards unlocking the final piece of the puzzle needed to deploy neuromorphic at scale using SpiNNaker2! (1/8)
