Yesterday I spread probably three dozen post-its on the floor, trying for several hours to figure out the core plot and feel of a story that's been bothering me.
Result: maybe the adventure story in a plane-centric world with mad science should have more adventure, planes and mad science.

Never actually care about your applications.
Sort of. They usually don't have names in the final product, but they do have names when I map out the story.

It's an odd thing when you get inspired by a job ad.
Suddenly, you've written the application, redone your resume, cut your hair, plucked your eyebrows and taken new pictures for it. All in a day.
Now to just wait for the rejection email two months from now.
Didn't think my first non-kinda-sick day in a couple weeks would end up with me taking my roommate to the emergency room but here we are.

Ah, yeah, it wasn't about what I was writing. Just that my brain was going a bit too fast and intense, just going through the scene over and over and over.
It's sort of fun if there wasn't all the nausea and light-headedness :'D
