Martin Galway has graciously released the source code to his Wizball music and driver on github. Be amazed at how so much music was hand crafted into such a small space with no trackers / editors. github.com/MartinGalway...

TWiR covers an unusual global gaming contest and the hosts talk about the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Could Book Club be in our future?!
Plus more news for retro Star Wars game fans, an incredible Sinclair C5 hack, and more when This Week in Retro 259 arrives Saturday!
Enjoy the rest, it’s great!
We are now assembling/shipping SuperStation v1.2.3 (wave 4) in the second office. We have 14 testing stations and 16-32 spots for assembly and packing. To put this into context, we only had a single testing station for wave 1, and only had enough space for 4 people to assemble.
Console Mode is going into open beta testing for SuperStation/MiSTER Pi owners. If you are interested, head over to Discord. We have a special role and channel for feedback: discord.gg/t3ZywMBvh
@pixelcherryninja.bsky.social are you aware?
There's a new episode of the ChinnyVision podcast out. I speak to the developer behind the remake of Mr Weems And The She Vampires and learn all about his computing history in Northern Ireland. It's half hour bang on, no filler, witter or adverts. www.podbean.com/eas/pb-csf92...

My first point and click adventure Woolley Mountain didn't get that much exposure when it first released, but I've been slowly building a strong fan base (thank you!) - it's now on most platforms so why not check it out?

It’s the grand opening day of the @retrocollective.co.uk Workshop build today. For the last 8 month we have restored a Victorian Pump house into a storage and workshop space to restore Arcades, Computers, Console and more. It would not have been possible without all the support.

A SAM Coupe and a ZX Spectrum, surrounded by some of the hardware I make for those systems and for RC2014 and compatibles. Plus SAM Revival magazines, software, and some of my gamedev doodles from over the years.
(1/2) A crap week or two has taken me away from the fun of #retrodev. I wasn't about to give any Black Friday offers so today & tomorrow (30th/1st) just drop me a message if you're after any of my products and I'll look to perhaps do free postage, throw in a freebie or knock a couple quid off.

A small update regarding users with dropped pledges due to installment payment issues with KickStarter
I’m thinking about having Retro Remake host a PS1 homebrew game jam with cash prizes and free SuperStation one units.
Thoughts?
I just want to put this out into the universe.
If you are a homebrew developer of a GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SMS, MD/Genesis, N64, or PS1 game with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to ship it with SuperStation as a physical or digital demo disk.
We ended up improving this further. Today, we finished validating SS1 v1.2 after two weeks of testing. I am confident in saying we have the best analog gaming platform.
5 analog video outputs + 4 analog audio outputs + HDMI, and all of them work simultaneously.
I decided to go with launch NTSC packaging for the Founders Edition.
This looks lush, so glad I ordered the blue.
Will is be possible to order an internal fan, or would we need to source/fit ourselves?
