I think I'm starting to accept that human characters aren't for me in pixel art because I compare them to my digital art portraits too much and see a disconnection in skills. Can I practice? Obviously, but I'm trying to figure out if I want to put my focus elsewhere with pixels!

Ahh makes total sense! I think I focused too much on making the colors look nice overall without thinking enough about how players read the space.
