I try a lot of MG fantasy to learn how I want to write. It cuts down what books I can enjoy reading, and SO many I dnf. I then need books I've come to think of as "palate cleansers," books I love, to clear my mind. Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. The Hobbit. A few others. Writers, what about you?

I've been afraid to buy this book because of how it made people cry. I've been afraid to read it. But now that I am reading it I can't put it down and am trying to ready myself to be devastated. Totally falling in love with these characters.

I'm not sure there's anything more delightful for a writer than your favorite notebooks getting delivered. Unless it's a delivery of books.
If I'm using paper and pen, it's with a Mnemosyne B5 ruled notebook and the uni Jetstream 0.7 pen. Super smooth combo. What's yours?

The world was a little breathtaking this morning. Had to share with all of you.
I was not a fan. It felt cheap and I missed the usual experience and soundbytes. Watching tubi to get the game free made the experience seem cheap on purpose.
I've been carrying my Grocery Store Hyacinth around the house with me. It's a bit of Spring when all is still snow outside.

I don't read a lot of YA but this one got my attention!
