This is awesome, so many great ideas packed into a small box!
Brilliant idea! ๐
Iโm going to say Mad Inventor. I donโt have enough hands to be the Game Show Host ๐
A light blue diagram depicting the sea, with the water's surface at the top, and just below it is an outline of the Mary Rose, with the depth (12m, 40ft or 6.7 fathoms). There is a line showing the seabed, which takes a rapid dive into the vertical...
On the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, we thought we'd answer a question that's often asked,
"If they raised the Mary Rose, why not raise the Titanic?"
Allow our scaled diagram to explain...

Booked my ticket for @big-stem-network.bsky.social and will also be speaking this year! Iโll be joining Pete from Kings College and a few others talking about using the @microbit.org for teaching coding. I will also be bringing along the escape room kit for folk to have a go!
Late night thought:
ChatGPT is rather like the British Museum: Really fun to visit until you start thinking too hard about how it got everything.
Three children taking part in a microbit based escape room activity, with cardboard robots and wooden computer consoles on a table in front of them.
Some of the kids had a go at the @microbit.org escape room today at the Bishops Cleeve CoderDojo. It was nice to get it out of the box again, itโs been too long! @codeclub.bsky.social
I'm going to post out a copy of these @microbit.org game worksheets from to 5 people that repost this or to new followers! I will use a micro:bit to choose at random ๐๐ฎ๐น๏ธ๐๐พ
Canโt wait! ๐
Visiting @raspberrypiorg.bsky.social HQ was a great experience, but did leave me wanting one of their fancy mugs! Finally caved last week and ordered one of my own ๐๐ซ
Next time we might add a timer, or some "bad" dots which you need to avoid.
Took my new @pimoroni.com Presto along to CoderDojo today, and helped a couple of the kids make a cool little game.
Trying out @flashes.blue with a new account:
Our YouTube channel now has 16 subscribers!
Itโs not the biggest number Iโll admit, but Iโm still proud of this small milestone and very grateful for the support.
Letโs see how quickly we can get to 32!
Ellie and I have made another #OctoStudio tutorial! This time weโve made a virtual pet, which eats a real bone, has a bath and goes disco dancing! ๐บ

You may have seen a lot of "middle aged" women posting about bad behaviour in their early careers. I have many stories to add. But I think you've already got the idea.
It's still happening now.
If you see it, call it.
Because it stays with us all our fucking lives.

Back from a wonderful weekend at #ClubsCon24 in Cambridge, meeting Code Club educators from around the world.
Listened to inspiring talks and got the chance to show off my escape room. But the best bit was meeting so many awesome people!
Thank you @raspberrypiorg.bsky.social !
Nice to meet you and build lego together! :)
Such a beautiful sky!
Yes! Looking forward to it, last time was fantastic :)
Thatโs awesome, congratulations!!
Now, should I get the volunteers helping me with this to dress up as giant chickens...
