I topped posting here a while back, as things never seemed to take off, at least not for photography. This platform saw its initial burst when Twitter was subsumed, but it staggered and slowed down quickly. I'm certain it is still big for politics, but it never seemed to take off for other media...

It should be starting now, as far as I'm concerned. We need to cleanse ourselves of this stain. It's so embarrassing to be an intelligent and empathetic American right now.
The words to this song make so much more sense as an adult now. Especially living in the US, watching the lights go out...
"The grass was greener; the light was brighter...the ringing of the division bell had begun."
Strangely, the first thing that came to mind was a) 50's greasers, and/or b) characters in a pulp 50's science fiction epic. Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon!
Pencil artwork from the early 1950's found inside an abandoned factory in Cleveland, Ohio. These drawings must have been done by an employee who once worked here many decades ago, and who most likely, is long gone from the scene.

I agree. I'm still pissed they took the USS John F Kennedy away and plan to reef her in the Gulf of Mexico. That aircraft carrier was a work of art.
Someone has to continue the fight to MAKE it worth fighting for. The ones who remember and who still care need help.
And its convincing the younger generations that its worth picking back up that seems to be so hard. There is really no interest.

Two long forgotten and abandoned cars left in an empty lot on the back streets of Cleveland, Ohio, dusted with a thin scrim of winter snow. They have since disappeared from this spot within the last year or so...

I feel it every day. Hard to see it happen in real time.
I know this chair very well!
I wish I knew! They definitely lent some color to the situation!
