anyway,

i added projectiles and a bunch of items
shown here:
- bird with a laser gun
- teleport attack
- gunboots based on Downwell

now there's some proper items, i'll make a couple of enemies+rounds, then maybe put it on itch idk

most main parts are in now, thinking what's left:
- add proper items (bunch of ideas)
- add proper enemies (some ideas)
- add more rounds (idk lol)
- make decent title screen
- maybe make player able to do more movement stuff
- maybe make level look nice
- name the game

and today,

there is a store that sells test items:
- stilts make you taller and deal contact damage while moving
- slime orb guy makes you fast
- wings grant flight

buying the same item adds a level to the existing one, up to a limit per-item.

also not exactly sure if i want the player to be able to take damage or not, thoughts?

probably not general contact damage, but maybe from projectiles and specific attack frames.

logically makes sense to be intangible cause its a smoke creature, but then the vessel part still is so idk.

more notes,

the enemies aren't supposed to explode when they reach the exit; the player can't attack yet

i wanna add slopes but it's proving difficult

intermission will be longer, buy upgrades then?

active entrances can change across rounds

maybe more vessels with different quirks each

added particles, pickups, rounds, and sprites for the "exit" crystal and beast

beast is kinda a smokey shadow creature, the green-haired girl is its vessel

by tower defence i meant more "protect point": plan is to have a exp upgrade screen; you are the weapon(s)

making in picotron cause i want the bigger screen. (the pico-8 screen was fairly limiting for my tomorrow game)

It's a small walking simulator I made last year for one of my classes. Walk in snow, press buttons, and discover paper.

First time posting it here, but I've just updated my #vrchat Battery Prefab (to v1.3):

It adds partial support for XSOverlay with a new Average Tracker Battery option (also supports OVR Toolkit and WlxOverlay), and a toggle to disable showing the charging state.

Goes over Daisy, but doesn't replace the voice (yet?)

Not sure about the .chpack format since it adds another windows program to the process, but oh well.

i make things, sometimes #gamedev, often low-poly #3dmodelling and #vrchat avatars, and occasionally #digitalart and #pixelart. (that purple one is my vrchat avatar)

every now and then i'll post things here, but i also don't use socials that much so we'll see.
